The laboratory was formally founded in February 2021.[1]
In January 2022, a lawsuit was ongoing, with Tree House Labs accusing its former COO "of trying to sell the company a license for a set of compliance policies that she was already required to create for it, and then failing to return the policies after she was fired."[2]
