Recreational cannabis was potentially going to be legalized in Mexico in 2019.[1][2] However, the push to legalize was stalled until April 30, 2020, and it may get pushed back further.[3] Even then, legalization maybe be limited to medical applications, according to statements by President Andrés Manuel López Obrador.[4]
