The Centre for Applied Research and Innovation (CARI)—which is a part of the British Columbia Institute of Technology—provides analytical testing services, research, and technology development to a variety of industries. Through its Natural Health and Food Products Research Group's (NRG) Phytoanalytics Laboratory, the research center also conducts research on Cannabis and provides chemical laboratory testing of it for the country's various cannabis programs.[1][2]
