Overview

In October 2003, PLoS Biology became one of the first peer-reviewed open-access journals on the web, hosted by the Public Library of Science.[1] Since then, hundreds of publishers have taken the idea of the academic journal and moved it to more open-access models. Included among these are journals that focus on various scientific research about the Cannabis plant and its constituents. We've selected open-access articles relating to the topic that are free to republish elsewhere with proper citation, much in the same way the material on this website can be shared.
